Exotic and Luxury Body Repair, Experienced Hands

Podium Body Works repairs exotic and luxury vehicles from the Austin area and beyond: McLaren, Lamborghini, Ferrari, Aston Martin, Lotus, and their peers. We’re experienced in these marques, not factory certified for them. We say that plainly, because owners of these cars punish vagueness. What we hold is the tooling, the materials capability, and the repair record.

Who repairs exotic cars in Austin?

Very few shops, honestly, and owners know it: many of these cars have been leaving town on trailers for years. The barriers are real, aluminum structures, carbon fiber, marque-specific diagnostics, and the nerve to disassemble a seven-figure car correctly. We do this work every week. This is the same shop that holds Porsche’s own certification at Liberty Hill. That tells you the standard the rest of the shop runs at.

A Ferrari owner deciding where to send a car reads a page looking for reasons to disqualify the shop. Fair. Read on.

The marques

Which marques have you repaired?

McLaren, Lamborghini, Ferrari, Aston Martin, and Lotus are the regulars, and McLaren has become enough of a specialty that it carries its own page. The honest wording matters here: outside of Porsche, we are experienced in these marques, not factory certified. What experience means in practice: correct disassembly, marque-correct materials and finishes, genuine parts, and paint work that respects what these finishes cost.

There were five McLarens in the shop at once this month; that’s not a brag, it’s the workload.

By marque

Outside of Porsche we are experienced with these marques rather than factory certified, and we say so plainly. Here is what that experience covers for each, with McLaren carrying its own dedicated page because it is the marque we see most and the certification we are pursuing next.

McLaren collision and paint repair

McLaren is the marque we see most, enough that it has its own page. Collision and paint work happens now with genuine parts and the carbon and aluminum handling these cars require, and factory certification for McLaren is the credential next on our list.

Lamborghini collision and paint repair

We have repaired Lamborghinis, and they get careful disassembly, genuine parts, and paint matched to a finish that punishes shortcuts. Send photos for a free estimate and we will tell you honestly what the repair involves before anything is touched.

Ferrari collision and paint repair

Ferrari collision and paint work runs the same disciplined process, with marque-correct materials, genuine parts, and any aluminum or structural work measured rather than guessed. The free photo estimate is the fastest way to a real number without moving the car.

Aston Martin collision and paint repair

Aston Martins come in for collision and paint, and they get the aluminum-aware repair and hand-finished paint the marque expects, documented to standard to protect the value of the car. Photos are enough to start.

Lotus collision and paint repair

Lotus owners travel for a shop that understands bonded and composite structures, and this is one. Genuine parts and carefully matched paint are the everyday of the work, and we are honest that our experience here is hands-on, not factory certification.

Aluminum

Can aluminum structures be repaired?

Yes, with dedicated tools and the patience aluminum demands. Steel remembers its shape and wants to return to it. Aluminum doesn’t. That’s why aluminum repair is its own skill with its own equipment, and why many shops simply refuse it. Aluminum structures and panels are daily material here, from Porsche’s factory-spec requirements to the spaceframes and panels the exotic marques build with.

Carbon fiber

Can carbon fiber be repaired?

Panels often can; structures need honest assessment first. Carbon fiber bumpers, splitters, and body panels are repairable with the right process. A carbon tub or structural element that has taken a hit needs diagnosis before anyone promises anything. We’d rather tell you a hard truth than sell you a repair the car shouldn’t have. That assessment capability, in house, is half the value.

Diagnostics

What diagnostics do you run in house?

Dealer-level diagnostics, coding, and calibration, on the marques above, without the dealership visit. Our bench includes the Leonardo system, one of the few in Austin, alongside OEM and deeper programming tools that code new sensors from blank. The one job that still leaves the building is instrument-cluster replacement, a factory security restriction, and we’re upfront about it.

For most owners this means the whole event, structure, paint, sensors, coding, happens under one roof. No bouncing between a body shop and a dealer.

Value

How do you protect the car's value?

With documentation, genuine parts, and a repair that reads clean to the next buyer. High-value cars carry a risk everyday cars don’t: diminished value, the gap between what the car was worth and what a repaired car sells for. A properly documented, genuine-parts repair narrows that gap, and we help owners through diminished value claims when insurers need pushing.

We also belong to no insurer network, so nobody upstream of your car is optimizing it for cheapness. Our claims guide explains how we run that fight.

Frequently asked questions

Few shops carry the tooling and experience. We repair McLaren, Lamborghini, Ferrari, Aston Martin, and Lotus regularly, with aluminum and carbon capability in house.

We’re Porsche Certified at Liberty Hill, and experienced, not factory certified, in the other marques. We say it plainly because it’s true.

Panels often yes; structures need assessment first, and we diagnose before anyone commits to anything.

Completely. Aluminum resists returning to shape and needs dedicated tools and skills, which we hold and use daily.

A documented, genuine-parts repair protects resale, and we help owners push diminished value claims when it’s warranted.
