About Podium

Two Shops,
One Standard

Podium Body Works is two established Texas body shops united under one name and one standard. Round Rock is the shop the corridor knew for years as Haywood’s Autocrafters. Liberty Hill brought the Porsche Certified bay and the oversized booth. Owner Tracy Haywood runs both, and the same rules apply at each door.

The story

How did two shops become Podium?

By keeping what worked and naming it once. Haywood’s Autocrafters built its 4.8-star reputation in Round Rock. The Liberty Hill acquisition added specialty capability nobody on the northern side had. Rather than run two names with one owner and one standard, everything became Podium Body Works. Customers kept their team, their history, and their warranties; the name on the sign caught up with reality.

Credentials

What do the certifications actually mean?

That the procedures are trained, tested, and current, not guessed. Both shops hold I-CAR Gold Class, the highest shop rating. Every technician is I-CAR Platinum, the highest individual rating. Each is also ASE certified, the deeper exam covering body, paint, estimating, and diagnostics. Liberty Hill’s Porsche certification sits on top, earned through factory testing. Short version: the people touching your car passed the hard tests, recently.

Why stay off the insurer programs?

Because we tried one and left it. Years inside a direct repair program taught us what the arrangement really buys: pressure toward cheaper parts, skipped inspections, and repairs graded by the insurer’s spreadsheet. Every repair here now runs on the manufacturer’s standard for every customer. We still work with every insurance company, cordially and daily. We just answer to the car and its owner. The claims guide tells that story in full.

The team

Who does the work?

Career technicians, not a revolving door. The body techs are the same people who disassemble exotics for a living. Our PDR specialist lives in Round Rock and works both shops daily, no storm-chasing, no disappearing warranty. It’s a shop where the person who takes your car apart is the person whose name the shop knows and stands behind.

One standard

Can one shop handle dailies and Porsches alike?

That’s the point of the whole operation. The Porsche-spec tools don’t get locked away when a Camry rolls in. The discipline that protects a 911’s warranty is the same one that gets your family SUV back right. From a door ding to a McLaren, the standard doesn’t flex, only the parts list does.
